Ecoweave™ RECYCLED POLYESTER

Built for the ocean, this high-performance fabric combines 4-way stretch and fast-drying recycled polyester to take on salt, sun, and surf with ease. Engineered to perform in demanding marine environments, it delivers lasting comfort, flexibility, and resilience.

Featuring EcoWeave™, an innovative zero-water digital printing technology, it offers rich, durable prints with zero water consumption—dramatically reducing its environmental impact.

Distributed Tension Waist System

At the centre is the DTWS (Distributed Tension Waist System) designed by Pete Cabrinha: an internal construction that spreads pull evenly, keeps the front flat for paddling comfort and locks the shorts in place through heavy surf and active days.

WAXED COTTON DETAILS

Reinforced with strategic panels in waxed cotton from Halley Stevensons of Scotland add hard‑wearing protection and a naturally patinated. Its coating can be maintained by the end user by re-applying wax to the surface, keeping the material soft, supple, and weather-resistant.

The finish ensures that the fabric looks better with age, as wax naturally picks up marks and creases through use.

AMUNDSEN X PETE CABRNIHA

From tropical Pacific waters to the far north. A capsule built for those who feel most at home in the elements.

A pioneer of modern ocean sports, Pete Cabrinha is a Hawaiian waterman whose career spans windsurfing, big-wave surfing, and kitesurfing. Crowned world champion in windsurfing in 1985, he later became part of the Maui crew that pushed the limits of big-wave riding in the 1990s. As the founder of Cabrinha, he helped bring kitesurfing from fringe experiment to global sport. Alongside his work on the water, Cabrinha is also an artist, translating a life shaped by wind and waves into visual form. A constant across decades and disciplines, he remains a defining figure in the evolution of ocean culture.
