Flavell on Content-Type

a recent post by Subbu reminded me of one of the 'deans' of the Web - Alan Flavell.

i read his piece on the Content-Type a while back and it struck me how concise his writing was - even on complex topics.

i never got to know him or his work until after his death in December 2006. but i still miss his clarity.
