looks like i found a place where i can park my 1U. on very short notice, i worked through details and have arranged for a short-term contract w/ a local company that will allow me to add my single server to an existing rack. i need to handle a few final details and then Jesse and i need to pull the server from the existing rack and drive it to the new rack about 45 minutes away.
if the weather co-operates and everything lines up, we should have our server running in a new rack, provisioned w/ a new IP [sigh] by the end of the 16th.
still lots of details missing on why this has to happen. i'm trying to get to the details.
