urgent server move coming up (!$?#)
i learned this evening that the rack in which Jesse and i keep our 1U server must be cleared out in the next 48 hours.
yeah, i know.
i don't have the full story, but the company we've been working with for the last year has been *excellent* about working with us. we host a small set of web apps, a game server, and a voice server. nothing high bandwidth. very secure; very reliable. until tonight.
i expect to get the full story when i meet with them on Tuesday. between now and then i'll be hunting up a place to rack our 1U. and when that happens we're bound to be off-line for a while. i doubt we'll get to keep our IP [sigh].
so, if we 'go dark' for a day or two, please don't worry. we'll be back.
you can always see me on Twitter and FriendFeed. and our email is hosted w/ google so that will be fine, too.
BTW - know anyone in the Cincinnati, OH area that will let me park my 1U for a while? ping me.
