ok, i posted my ongoing play w/ Azure Table Storage in my github space. feel free to check it out.
big thing to notice here is that you don't need Vista/Server 2008. You don't need VS2008, either. i wrote these w/ .NET 2.0 (C#) w/o any fancy SDKs, etc. just plain WebRequest/WebResponse coding. ok, some other stuff, but you get the idea.
feel free to pull it. play w/ it. make it better, etc. i'll be doing more over the next several weeks, so don't freak out if it changes a lot. if you like what you see, you best pull it and hold onto it yourself.
btw - if you *do* write some cool stuff w/ any of this, let me know.
